Where our food comes from

Lentils, barley, wheat, canola, ducks, feedlot beef, and wool – were all on the menu as a group of Rotarians from the Wyndham Rotary Club visited members of the Warracknabeal Rotary Club in Victoria’s Wimmera as part of a vocational exchange. Apart from visiting farms to see how crops were grown and marketed, and livestock farmed, the combined clubs had a ‘paddock-to-plate’ dinner, with local farmer Rotarians describing their farming operations to produce the food being eaten.
