Blood Pressure Awareness

A blood pressure test unit was stationed at the exit of Bunnings for four hours to raise awareness of the risk of stroke and other problems triggered by high blood pressure. Many people were tested, a number of whom were advised to follow up and visit their doctor. John Campbell, organiser of the event, said he hoped that the people who were made aware of elevated blood pressure took the time to get the issue attended to professionally. The testing has been conducted at Bunnings several times  and is something the Club hopes to repeat.
